Rain and Moon Pies

Our plans to visit downtown Nashville got cancelled with all of the flooding and road closures....so, we went to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant with all of the family who could come. Lots more rain when we were inside the restaurant and the sky got pretty dark with quite a lot of wind...but we were safe & dry. We took some family pictures and bought some Moon Pies to commemorate the outing. Jack thought I said to moon the Moon Pies, or some such thing. After the picture taking, I tried to give away the box of Moon Pies....but no one wanted them to take home, or to take into their offices as "free" food. hmmm...what's that all about?

Tomorrow we head out for Louisville, KY to visit all of the Ray Reinert family....God willing and the crick don't rise. (With all of the creeks and rivers overflowing this weekend, that isn't just a phrase right now.) We will need to see how to get to the interstate before we leave Carol's tomorrow morning and will try to avoid any unplanned detours.

Thank you Tennessee family for your hospitality. We enjoyed seeing all of you and have had a wonderful visit. We will miss y'all!

So what does everyone have against moon pies? lol..Rod would have taken the whole box of them. Especially the banana ones. His favorite. Give him a moon pie and a glass of kool-aid and he is a happy camper...lol
Oh, and brother Jack is a goofus..lol
